On this special day of December 8, 2024, a feast combining food and culture - "Lei Yue Mun Moutai International Seafood Festival to Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" will be grandly opened! This seafood festival is co-organized by Rich Brighten (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., Lei Yue Mun Neighborhood Welfare Association, and Lei Yue Mun Chamber of Commerce, and is also inseparable from the strong sponsorship and support of Kweichow Moutai Import and Export Co., Ltd.
On the day of the opening ceremony, the venue was packed with guests and it was very lively. Deputy Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Cheuk Wing-hing, Director of the Social Work Division of the Kowloon Office of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Wu Xiao-ting, Commissioner for Tourism of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Cheung Fung Wing-ping, District Commissioner for Kwun Tong, Ho Lai-kei, Legislative Council members, Ip Pak-leung and Ngan Man-yu, and General Manager of Business Development of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Chan Hoi-king, and other officials from various government departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region came to the scene to add brilliance to this grand event.
The ceremony kicked off with a lion dance performance full of vitality and traditional charm. The lively colored lions tumbled up and down to the sound of exciting gongs and drums, showing the majesty and agility of the southern lions. The guests personally put the finishing touches on the colored lions, giving good wishes and expectations to this auspicious beast. It is worth mentioning that this lion dance performance ingeniously integrated the thousand-year-old wine culture of Moutai into it. Through the moves of the lion dance, it vividly interpreted the profound cultural heritage of Moutai, allowing the audience to deeply feel the unique charm brought by the collision of traditional cultures.

As one of the organizers, Mr. Luo Shengxing, Chairman of the Seafood Festival Organizing Committee, delivered a warm welcome speech at the opening ceremony. He expressed his sincerest gratitude to all the guests present and friends who have always supported the Seafood Festival, and introduced in detail the entire process of the Liyuemen Moutai International Seafood Festival from the beginning of preparation to the final presentation, as well as the rich cultural value carried by the event.
Then, Mr. Gu Yufeng, General Manager of Rich Brighten (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., came to the stage to give a thank-you speech on behalf of Moutai. Mr. Gu expressed his heartfelt gratitude to officials from various departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Lei Yue Mun Neighborhood Welfare Association, the Lei Yue Mun Chamber of Commerce, and all partners who participated in this event. He emphasized that Moutai has always firmly supported such activities that combine culture and food, using fine wine and delicious food as a bridge of communication, and fully promoting the vigorous development of Hong Kong's cultural tourism industry, so that more people can deeply appreciate the profoundness of Moutai culture and the richness of Chinese food culture.

In terms of the decoration and layout of the event, we, Rich Brighten (Hong Kong), worked with various teams to carefully plan and strive to create a unique experience for tourists. The large-scale lighting at Lei Yue Mun created a dreamlike atmosphere, attracting many tourists to stop and take photos. At the same time, the mellow aroma of Moutai and the delicious taste of seafood blended together, bringing tourists an unprecedented taste experience. This seafood festival will last until February 28 next year, and will continue to bring exciting food experiences to consumers.
